    hi,what batteries are people using on ace.i have been using Duracell,but I'm having to buy more each week.so i started using fujicell 2700 rechargeables.but they are only lasting a day.any ideas.thanks Nigel

    i have to say,metal detecting is a release from stress in everyday life.anybody who is depressed should be forced to go metal detecting.the buss it gives you not knowing what you will dig next will cure lots of ailments.i would walk bloody miles to hear that ring ring of a coin underfoot.lol.

    found a gold ring today.used my Garrett ace 250 for a month and found lots of new and old coins,but today a gold ring was dug up.cant describe how i felt.I'm sure you know when this happens.the hard task is finding out how old the ring is.and its history.
