    Do you guys use digging knives?

    I just got one today I ordered from Amazon. Its called a "Joshua Roth 1515 Hori Hori garden landscaping digging tool" It looks like one of my detecting digging tools but for way much less. Its Japanese with a carbon steel blade and sheath. Its quite nice and well built.

    Adding a coil

    I am going to get a smaller coil for my EXll, my narrowed list are the Minelab 8", Sun-ray 8" stealth, or a platypus or joey. My goal is higher trash areas, more ease of pinpointing and less noise, and just a better performer than the standard 10". What say you guys?

    Is your 8" a Sun-ray or Minelab, or are they both the same? I read a review on the Sun-ray, and it sounded pretty good. I was just wondering if one is as good as the other. Both are priced the same.

    Spent the day with my baby girl today...

    Amazing how much people notice you when you have a cutie with you. She is so polite. Anytime sombody says something nice to her or gives her something she always says thank you, repeatedly, and makes sure you hear her until they say your welcome. I guess she is teaching them manners too!

    Minelab Emulator Program

    Has anyone went over to the Minelab forum and downloaded the Minelab Emulator Program? I just tried it. Pretty cool. No U.S. coins though. Detecting from your desktop. Kinda neat.

    Out of the loop?

    How much different is the Minelab Explorer SE as opposed to the ExplorerII. I haven't compared the two as I have been out of the loop persay as to new technology. Can our detectors accept new software or upgrades? This would problably be a question for Mike.

    Prayers please

    Carol has been diagnosed with thyroid problems 3 times worse than normal. She has to go through all the tests to pinpoint the problem. She can't be tested for two weeks until all the unwanted things are out of her system for the testing to be accurate. Anyway, pray for her please.

    If you rip a CD you store it to your computer. If you burn a CD you make a hard copy to carry along. Is that correct?
