    Out in the Field Yesterday

That is quite a total of finds. Have you been over that same area before? Do you notice much difference since the upgrade? Good luck, JIm

    10 Wheaties and 2 silver

That is the same question I had for some of the old pro's. What do you lose by using the "High Trash" program?

    10 Wheaties and 2 silver

I went to an old home site today for the first time. I was hunting in high trash mode again, I really like that program. I spent about 3 hours covering the back yard area and was real pleased with my finds for the day. Most of the coins were 4 to 6 inches deep and those old copper roofing tacks...

    New V3i today...

I have only had mine for a few days and it is a fun machine for sure. I wish I had a friend close by for some hands on advice. It took me 45 minutes to register the thing after making a few mistakes. Have fun, JIm

    First silver with V3i

I went to a small park for the first time today. My wife said she used to play there when she was a kid so I knew it was old. It is just a small corner lot where a house once stood and now its a park. The first coin I found was a 45 wheatie and then I found my first silver. It was showing 84-87...

1st time out with the V3i

Thanks to all for the information. I went out today for a few hours and tried the High Trash program over the same area I went yesterday. I really liked it and found another 1944 wheat cent and some clad. I used a lot slower swing and I am now starting to look at the display and put it together...

1st time out with the V3i

I just got my V3i yesterday afternoon and today I went to an old house in town that is now an Insurance Office. There wasn't much yard to search as the back yard is paved for parking and the area around it has a lot of trash and nails. After just a few minutes I turned off the V3i and got out my...

    V3i

Thanks Larry, I think you said it well. It is knid of like my computer use, there are a ton of things on it I will never touch but the things I use I feel like I can't live without. I love my XLT but I feel that I am hearing the V3i is a deeper and more sensitive detector. I would like to...

    V3i

How good are the preset programs on the new V3i. I have been using my XLT for 5 years and from what little I know about the V3i it sounds real complicated to use.
