    As most of you regulars here already know, my Gracie went thru quite an ordeal with her illness and surgeries last year. These bumps on life's road tend to change the way we think and approach matters and we're always keeping a cautious eye out, as would be expected given the circumstances...

    :smile:Had to change our phone service back to Bell in order to hook up with our new server network. Our previous phone company is a little ticked that we didn't go with their internet service, which offers out of country tech support like the one we're getting rid of and now it seems...

    Waiting on a new network server here :smile:

    Got tired of the server problems we were having with our network so we're in the process of switching to a different company. Was supposed to be hooked up last weekend but the cable company we chose proved to be too much hassle.......too much cable to run with too many holes to be drilled...

    We just learned yesterday that our daughter Audrey's boyfriend (Matt) is flying out to Vancouver Island tomorrow morning for a job interview with the municipality of Parksville. Does that ring a bell ? The young man's a civil engineer and hasn't been able to find a job around here yet...

    Her plastic surgeon is relocating to the U.S. in the new year so she's going to need to find a replacement but thankfully she only requires some minor tinkering in January so it won't be a problem. Other than that, her health is perfect, thank God. I honestly haven't looked at my computer or...

    Don't know about you guys but it became fall here instantly........like somebody just flipped a switch !.........

    Had a frost warning last night already. Earliest fall I've seen in a long time, not that I mind it. Was too hot for my liking anyways. Think I'll change the oil on the cars today.......nice day for it. Get that done early and maybe head out for detecting an hour or two.......see if I can't...

    The Kenney family lived across the road from us on Charl Street. Mike and Pat, the two oldest boys hung around with my two older brothers and myself.
