    Jason, I have no idea what is causing your problems. I run my V on DE/MD beaches without a single issue and usually with RX at 13-15 and TX Boost on with the D2 coil. It will false if I hit saltwater with the coil but my wet/dry sand performance is excellent here. I'm guessing the +2-+3...

    Jason for me larger coils miss too many smaller jewelry pieces on the beach. Yeah they do go deeper but at the price of gold I hate to run by a small chain just to see a deeper quarter :sad:

    I have the Super 12 but mine will not work with TX Boost and IMO isn't half as good as the D2. My 1400 DD also doesn't work with TX Boost and also isn't as good as my D2 but my 5.3 Eclipse does work with TX Boost and though not as deep as the D2 it will go to 8+ inches for a quarter and is great...

    LOOP OPTIMIZATION

    To my understanding any loop with a V on the mounting area will work on both. Loops without the V will work on both except if you use TX Boost on the V then it may or may not work.

    Dan, without being there and seeing it .... my best guess is your coil is over a discriminated VDI and is burping the audio as a indication. This is tough to diagnose and is only a guess at best. Sorry I can't be of more help Dan.

    Joe congratulations on your machine selection ..... I assure you that that excitement level will stay with you even after you get it. I get up everyday excited to get out and use mine (the rain has been my biggest problem :thumbdown: )
