    last hunt of 2012...........

    got out for about three hours today. hunted any low spots that i could find using my cz6a in autotune with the 10.5 inch coil and ended up with a couple good items. in the pics you can see a tiny thin band gold ring with stones, when i picked it up from the dumped sand from my scoop the band...

    florida camping,snorkling,detecting suggestions??

    i'm looking for a spot where i can do the above mentioned activities as far as detecting is concerned i would prefer calm water(fresh or salt). i am considering Sebastian state park but i'm looking for other options in south Florida east or west coast. thanks for any suggestions! chuck.

    since i cant find a aquastar II what detector would be a very close second in its abilities? if its not very close performance wise i'm not interested. goldscan 5? whites tdi sl? i will be using it on east coast florida beaches. if its not waterproof i will modify it. chuck.

    some of my finds

    i have not been finding many gold rings at all!!!! here on the east coast with sanded in conditions and wave action gold rings are sinking out of range very quickly!!! everyone i talk to say that they are doing the same and some say this is there worst year of hunting as far as gold rings go...

    just got a 1265x as part of a package deal. needs a battery cover, can i still get one from fisher? if not, where? how much is the 1265x worth if i decide to sell it? also came with two 11 inch white closed coils. 5 pin connectors? what would each of these be worth? also have a 4 pin 8 inch...
