    detecting shoes.????

    ok, ive used old tennis shoes with and without socks, open and close toed sandles with and without socks. i have seen the scuba hi top booties and wonder if they work?? im looking for something that will not allow sand in and be comfortable for 4-6 hours of in and out of the water detecting.
