    more power

    hello, i got a crazy question so here goes. i have an old detector geb/tr disc.that don't have much depth,it takes 1 9v battery. what would happen if i mod the battery assembly to take say 3 or 4 9v's will it cook it off ? or give it a little more power. anybody ever try something like this?
