    A couple of my better coins!........

    I found these two years ago, 3 days and 10 feet apart. These two seated quarters look like they were dropped right after they were made! They even have a lip, almost like a burr around the edge where it hadn't had the chance to wear!

    Only one penny tonight!..........

    But it was an 1865 indian head! Only had about one hour of daylight, so I tried to shake some of this cough, and runny nose out on a farm field that I have never hunted with my Explorer. Only one penny, and it is a little bent up, but I'll take it! :)

    Good news!........

    My good friend Tim in our club who found the gold bracelet at the old park this weekend, Had it tested, and it is the real deal! over 56 grams! Needs repaired, but the jeweler said it would likely be worth over $1,000 How cool is that! :)

    Club hunt was Great!!!!..........

    Got there Saturday about 3pm. We all went to the old park that we went to for the forum hunt to hunt for a couple hours. We went back and had a small seeded hunt. We then hung around the camp fire and had a great time of fellowship. Got up Sunday morning and had church service, and then another...

Our group pulled 5 indians, two gold rings, and a gold bracelet. and several wheaties! I got a 1903 indian, a 1930 wheat, and about a 1/5 of a wheat...

    We went to my sons varsity football game tonight. They were up against a team that was undefeated in our conference like us.     It is official!.......

    I'm GREAT!!!! :) Yesterday I became a great uncle. My niece who I led to the Lord several years ago had her first baby, a girl. It is raining today, so I think we will go see her! :)

    Just got back!.........

    Went camping this weekend with a dozen families from church. Had a great time of fun and fellowship, great weather, even got some detecting in. Found tons of clad and took a couple youngins detecting to show them the ropes! Good to be back! :)

    Got out again today for a bit!........

    got 3 wheats 44D, 41, 16, and a nice indian head 1874 which is a pretty good year to get! Also a beautiful eagle button with tons of gilt still on it! :)

    the oldest silver coin I got at the comp. hunt was a 1902 barber dime. Steve and Greg were both 2 years off, but Steve guessed first, and Greg won the last trip nick contest, so Steve is the winner! I got your addy, so look for it in the mail! :)

    Need some prayer!........

    I have been stressing lately over several things. Gas, work, rain, a situation at church, winter fuel bill, etc.... When it gets to me it affects me physically! Thanks in advance!
