    Robert, sounds like you need to get yourself a 4x6 coil for that area, it will let you lock onto one target at a time (usually). I got one for my V3 and like the way it helps in areas where there are multiple targets close to each other.

    Believe it should, if you look on the 10" that came with your V3 stamped into one of the wing tab's you should see a V and mine has a M also above a number, I just bought the 4X6 and it has stamped on one of the wings of the coil a VM above number 0179. Hope this helps!

    etrac vs v3

    If you have never owned or operated a metal detector your best bet is buy a used older machine and see if you have the will and want to really do this hobby. Buying top of the line (real expensive) right off the bat isn't really that smart in my opinion unless you have money to burn but that's me.

    Was the 5.3 one of the new ones? I just bought a Vision (dealer had the older model with the new software 1.1 on it) and had to have the dealer call Whites and confirm they had a Eclipse Shooter
