    analyze

different sweep speed, crossing over the targer slightly different with each pass the common program was set up for testing electric fences are a pain. I haven't been able to figure that one out yet either :veryangry:

Is recovery delay independent of ground filter ?

Are you saying that the higher the number, the slower the recovery....lower the number, the faster the recovery? I always understood it to mean that a recovery speed of 50 gave more time than say a recovery speed of 80. Yes? No?

We need to start coming up up with some single frequency slammers.

For at least one simple reason....Depth capability. Even running one frequency, the V in my test garden picked up items that the xlt wouldn't touch.

We need to start coming up up with some single frequency slammers.

In theory single freq is supposed to focus all the available power to the one freq giving more depth. I've tried it in relic fields and found that it may add a little. I run the 7.5 and crank my gain and disc. sens up as high as I can. I also run relic with mixed mode off.

My first silver with the V

:thumbdown:Nope, no D. or if there was, it was worn off. Looks like we'll call it a 1917 then.... :clapping: Still a good enough find to make me happy! Spent 2 more hours back there this morning and only found more shotgun shell ends and rifle casings. Maybe it wasn't a picnic ground and it...

My first silver with the V

I found them pretty quickly, but spent about another hour there to no avail. Going back this morning. I didn't do research on the mercs, the top of the number just looked like a three to me. I see they started them in 1916. Ooops! :detecting: Here is a closeup of the the coin. and one from...

My first silver with the V

I haven't been doing any hunting do to the heat of summer and my relic fields are all grown up. However this morning I was visiting my mother at the farm I grew up at and happened to have the detector in the truck. Sometimes I putter around the yard but today I decided to brave the heat and bugs...

    The gold ring thing

I cannot see enough of a difference to justify not digging everything. Or in my case, more than likely not dig any of it.

    false signals

I've found the higher you have your gain set, the more sensitive the loop is to bumping.

    Bugs?

I get the bar just about everytime I analyze. It usually takes about three times until I get a proper analyze, whether it be humps or something else. Haven't bothered trying to change it.
