    Delta 4000 air tests with coins and platnium ring.

    Here is my testing results with coil off using a wooden ruler. First test has defaults , discrim mode and sensitivity set at stock 8. This is the depths where the vid still will read really close. Zinc. 6-7 " Dime. 6" Nickel 7" Quarter 7" Platinum men's ring 8" Now with sensetiity at 10...

    Delta 4000- People say blah its a bounty hunter...?

    I have have my Delta for about 3-4 weeks now, its been good to me, learning its traits and strong points. I hear a ton of talk about them here and their , they are like a bounty hunter? Kind of in a negative way. Is that really even a bad thing? I am finding that I must have the vdi numbers...

    Why would anyone use even a dull poker , probe to extract a coin from the ground and risk damage to a nice coin?

    I think I know the answer already. Its been in the ground for ?? Who knows how long its already damaged? I just can not understand why anyone would want to damage decent money, if it comes up as a zinc penny it could be and IH. That happened to me.

    How do you like the double d coil for the delta's?

    Just wondering how it liked vs the normal coil. I search for coins and gold in tot lots and beaches. I will somtimes hunt in an old property. I really am loving the detector as a whole. Delta 4000 Mike
