I wish it was always this easy...

Yesterday finally took out my Minelab to see how I did using my right hand, went to the Park my partner was hunting and started swinging, and was very odd, after about 15 minutes I told Tim I'd had enough, didn't dig anything, so switched hands, and a very hurting elbow, swung towards the car...

    Short hunt today...

45 minutes in the trashy area of the wheatie field...four coins total, two wheats(40-D, 46), a clad nickel(40) and this nasty 1947 Roosie, this is the back, where it was sitting on a piece of iron, just a broken signal with the hint of coin sound(if that makes sense) was all I had to go by!!

    First hunt of May...

Hit the "wheatie" field again and right in the middle of trash the whole time...found a no date variety 1 Standing Liberty Quarter(1916 likely), and this baby had nails beside, under and on the quarter, just dug it because the sound, the very bad sound had a hint of coin to it, usually when I...

What a difference a year makes...

Last year was a "down" year for me, first time since I bought my Explorer I didn't find a hundred silver coins in a year, as a matter of fact I only found 57 silver coins total. There were many reasons why I didn't such as my job, a 1 year old, and moving to a new place among the reasons. I just...

    Hit an old house..

Had a friend who wanted to learn how to detect, so let him use my Whites, and off we went to his grandmothers place(1830's) for some detecting. Seems I may have spent more time helping him than detecting, but figured I managed about an hour, found five coins: 1906-D Barber Half 1939 Washington...
