    At Pro disc.

    On the AT PRO video with Vaughn Garrett, he talks about iron disc. He takes a shotgun shell it reads at 28. He then takes a screw, it reads at 4. He says he is going to split the difference, and sets the disc at 20. To me splitting the difference would be 12. 28-4=24. Half of 24 is 12...

    Went back to the same spot I hunted this morning where I found the Nitro. The 1st signal I got was this 1/2ct,14kt Marqui. Jewerler says $1700-$2000.

    Having never used a detector with notch ability, I have a question. If I were to discriminate out all of the junk through pull tabs, and then notch back in nickels, would the detector pick up a gold ring? Thanks, Snoop

    Vaquero WOW!

    Took the Vaquero out for a hunt today. I hunted a sand volleyball court. I only found 4 clad coins, but I was amazed at what else I found, and how deep it was. I got a solid hit and dug down an inch or so. This is the depth that the other coins were found at. Nothing! Dug down about 2 more...

    Vaquero WOW!

    I had an hour to spare before work today, so I took out the new Vaquero high-tone for the 1st time. I found (4) nickles, (3) dimes, (5) Penny's in 45 minutes. I've never found that many nickles at one time in all my years of detecting. The high-tone "Rocks"! I love it.
