    Is the Fisher 1280...

    still being produced? I was under the assumption that it wasn't but I still see them new for sale on ebay and other dealer's sites. If they are, I'm surprised that they dont get the press that the cz-21 gets. Anybody know for sure? This is/was one bullet-proof underwater machine!

    I have a couple more questions. You guys (and gals) are a great resource for info. The Cibola is advertised as having ED 180. Is this like a circuit that changes the phase response of iron 180 degrees to eliminate it's response? I had a device like that a few years ago that I bought for my xlt...

    Surf PI Pro coil

    Has anybody out there ever wired in a different coil, in particular, an open dd or spider coil in their pi pro? I find the stock 9.5 non bouyant coil to be heavy and also susceptible to lifting with wave movement. The dd coil on my excal doesn't seem to suffer from these problems. Just wondering...

    X50 vs x70

    How is the depth capacity between these 2 compare. Are there still only 2 coils available for the 50 or are there 3 like the 70? I have a chance for a 50 reasonably priced and if the depth is just as good as a 70 will probably purchase. Thanx

    Excal death squeal

    Has anybody ever measured the voltage of their rechargeable pak when the machine gives the famous need for recharge death squeal? I checked mine yesterday and thought the voltage to be quite high at over 11 volts. Sound normal?
