    4x6 depth

    after using my 4x6 on an mxt ,i started wondering what kind of depth can i expect , all of the coins i happened to find today were about 3 inches deep.Any input would be greatley appreciated

    using 4x6

    yesterday i walked a foot ball field with a 4x6 ,not too productive ,but a lot of good exorcise. 3.10 cents and a religious medal. It wasn't any different except ,possibly losing depth. my width of swing was the same and still had fun. Am i nuts and should i do it again or is it a waste of time...

    mxt with the 4x6 coil

    i have used an mxt with the small coil and found it to be more fun detecting than the 950 ,you may not cover as much ground but the ground you search always yeilds something even if it,s only clad jmho jim

    WENT BEACH HUNTING

    went beach hunting today with the mxt ,i was very dissappointed with the results ,i found nothing but 1 bottlecap .the sand was wet hard sand and there were no signals. Is there special settings for the best results. thanks jim

    wait for the beep or

    this may become a very dumb question but here goes when using the mxt i found myself lookin at the screen and waitin for a beep what is the correct way to detect. i use a silent search detector as a rule.

    has anyone noticed

    every time i see an mxt on a vid eo ,very rarely do i see a the 950 coil on it,even WHITE'S own video moves riight to the 6x9 before the demo is over.

    hi am new the forum and previously owned an idx pro , how long does it take to get used to the mxt and to learn it, i borrowed one for 2 hrs and i am not sure i want one thanks Jim
