    I swapped out my factory nicads for the nimhs and have the batteries available, it would be a good chance for you to do the same with these nicads. They are in good shape and hold a charge well. $15 dollars to your door. Paul in Mass

    ground penetration with the Excal

    My question is, in the disc mode the signal that the coil puts out is shaped like a cylinder. When you switch to all metal (pinpoint) mode, does the signal that goes into the ground remain cylinder shaped, OR does it go to cone shape. Probably a pretty weird question, but I was curious...
