All Machines that are still under warrenty should be covered, far as I know that shoud be all of them. I would pay $100 for an upgrade that would properly ID a old square cut rusty nail at 10 inches. JMO

    Larry does the happy dance

That field is producing some good CW relics. I would pound that till he plants crops. Maybe a US plate in there somewhere you will know it if you walk over it. If get something that sounds like a soda can dig it.I think the small bullets maybe modern at least the one in the middle with the crimp...

Relic Hunt in Fauquier County Virginia

At Div Ihad those types of signals and were always hot rocks. The higher you go on all metal sensitivity the harder it is to pinpoint exact area. Thats why I bought a handheld pinpointer. What filter are you using in that hot dirt?

Daniel , I dug that sash buckle the first day up in the cornfield on Coles Hill, it was a good 9 inches and got a good VDI#. I was digging anything that a positive green bar popped up for an instant then went red or if a red bar poped up at -95 but gave no number this worked good. Locktrac and...

    V3 Video with TDI

The analysis mode does not have anything to do with the ground that is the ground probe ,the screen with the camel humps is the analysis mode which deals with the target size. It is not made for general search . You had to have had the trigger forward the search mode is trigger in center...

    V3 Video with TDI

You will get better depth in single freq 22.5 in relic mode.Curious as it looked like you were in analyse mode instead of search mode probably should put more time in with the V before you make a comparison with another machine. If you dig on good audio tone then by accepting down to -60 you...

Got a new V3with some sort of coil problem.

Most of the factory programs are to hot right out of the box to use.If you back the sensitivities down to get it stable that will stop. Very common problem with new owners.I was having the same issue called Todd at service he said to back Rx gain down, Disc down to 75 and all metal to 50 as a...

I saw a post about the Ground Phase # and what filters to run. Can anyone tell me what numbers (Phase #)

The way it was explained in the post on the ground probe its not so much the phase# but the signal strength loss that is indicated at the bottom is what you want to look at. 0-10% is low minerization 10-25% is moderate and 25 and above is highly mineralized. the V factory filter settings are...

    Hot Ground V3 Setup

Daniel I used mine at the last DIV and it worked fairly well. I used it in single frequency 22.5 mixed mode relic program, gain of 7 , dis 75 , all metal 60 , used 10 high pass filter it was noisey but it worked. Also was using the stock 10 dd coil. The 22.5 freq was much more quieter than 3 freq...
