    is anyone actually using there Whites XLT in the water? I know you can't get the box wet, but has anyone ever found anything while wading in the water?

    I'm thinking Excalibur 800....

    I'm thinking of getting the Excalibur 800 as my second detector to my Whites XLT...what do you users think of this machine and can you show me some of your finds. I'm really getting the itch to get my toes wet that the XLT won't let me....

    XLT settings

    What adjustment do I have to make to make the stock programs have that "slide Whistle" sound when I'm trying to pinpoint with my Whites XLT. For me it just seems easier to hear. Some years ago someone gave me a program to put in my machine and it had that tone in it. :help:

    Will Be In Tennessee Saturday

    2 years later....

    Been detecting for just over 2 years and it finally paid off...found this ring at a middle school a couple of blocks from the house...10k white gold, 2 real diamonds on each side and a real good fake Sapphire as the center stone...Jewler thought the center stone was real at first till he put it...

    Cannon Balls

    I go to Tennessee every year and once again this year I'm taking my metal detector...a Whites XLT...what I'm looking for are programs that I should be using to find cannon balls and old bullets...can anyone help me?:sadwalk:
