    Some recent "unique" finds :detecting:

    I haven't posted anything in awhile (haven't been out much and found even less) but here are a few unique finds I've found recently. A 1927 dog tax tag (I think that is the date but I could be wrong) , a old 19th century Miller padlock, and if anybody can ID the identification tag please do.

    MXT in the water

    Today I purchased a sand scoop and am planning to go hunting in the river where a lot of civil war action occured now that the water is pretty low. I'm excited about it and was wondering if anybody hunts their MXT in the water and how it performs.

    Cool little eagle button - ID please

    I went to a new spot and thought it would be a good one. Not long after I got there I found a button back. Soon after that a couple bullets. Within a half hour I had 2 bullets, a few rivets and a button back. I thought wow this is going to be a good day maybe I found a good spot. 3 hours...

    leather relic ID help please

    I found this today and was wondering what it was or went to. Found in civil war camp area. It is leather and still has 2 rivets holding it together. It almost looks like a sheath for a knife but I have no idea that's just a guess. I will post my other finds from the day later. Thanks.

    Summer SUCKS!! - at least for detecting
