    First gold of 2012

    One hour hunt this morning at low tide....nice triple gold earring...large 14k marked white gold surround, 14k marked rose gold center dangle, and 14k gold heart dandle....3 grams total....i was sceptical with the white, and rose gold..passed the acid test...seems to be real...?

    10k Gold Ring hallmark?

    Well...I finally did it...or should i say my Excal did...lol. FIRST GOLD RING EVER..Ive been detecting for 3 months here in Santa Cruz on the west coast...The Ring i just found is marked 10k with two more marks after it...Both pictures as far as i can tell....Wondering if anyone can help me...

    Ive been hunting in disc. mode with sensitivity at 7 on dry sand...Were i hunt there is lots of trash...so hunting in all metal is to time consuming, not to mention the wear and tear on the excal.     Excalibur 2 Disc. knob

    So...My Disc. Knob on my Excalibur 2 that is out of warrenty is spinning...Does anyone know how to take apart and fix it my self? If that is possable?(Broken part i dont have?) So i wnt outside put a pop top on the dround and rotated clockwise till pop top blanked out..that is spost to be around...
