    Coil selection 4 soil type

    Hi, if you was lucky enough to have all three coils for the x terra 70. 3kHz 7.5kHz and the 18.75kHz. how can you tell what soil type (mineralisation) you have in front of you, so you can them make an informed decision as to which coil to use???? many thanks

    Am I doing something wrong????

    Hi, I am new to the terra 70, but not to metal detecting. I have used the detector 3 times, each time on different sites. I just cant believe there is that much iron on all three sites to cause the threshold to drop out any were between once to five times for every sweep!!!!! it is very rare...

    Why DD coil???

    Hi, I have only just got my x-terra 70. went for a few hours on a farm that never has much the day it arrived. First trip out on one of our club sites, and a silver hammered. I used to used the sovereign, which although heavy, I liked very much. Now coil options, am I right in saying the DDs...

    What av I bought!!!!!

    Hi. Am new to this site, and new to the X-terra 70. I used to detect with a sovereign, many years ago, and normally research a new detector before I buy. But this time, I just not be bothered, so I called a detecting shop, and asked for some advice. The X-terra 70 is on its way to me right now...
