    Does anybody do this?

    I used to live in Dawsonville Ga, and there are a few area up in N. Ga to pan for gold. I was never really ever interested in doing that. Know that I have gotten into metal detecting. I was wondering if people take a detector in and kind of pre-scan the dirt before panning it out? Seems to me...

    Help

    I found this ring about 7 inches down, seems to be a old Silver ring, however no 925 mark. It does have a mark inside, looks like a W with a crown over it? It was tarnished black, but no crustacean on it. Any ideas on the ring? Thanks for any help - Chris Grand Cayman
