    button ID

    it is a spanish reale design with the 2 pillars dated 1741 0r 1747. it is not a coin its a cast pewter button. it was found at a colonial site in new york, all the coins we have taken out of here so far range fron 1724 to 1787 so im assuming the button is from that time period. any help would be...

    got out for a couple hours today, got the quarter off to a good start

    decided to do a wood lot that i did some of a while back and didnt find much so today i went to the other end of it. first i found a small depression from a caved in well or fire pit so i did around it for alittle while got one pewter button. started to expand my search out further, got a couple...

    1 big penny 1851, 1 button that was in the junk pile til i took a second look at it.

    startedraining when i got in the car but went anyways. started off where i leftoff the last time. at the end of the first pass i got a big penny just 3 feet away from where i got my last one and it was the same date 1851 after that it was just one piece of junk after another. good hunting...

    it was 36 when i left it felt more like 36 below with the wind blowing.but i got a couple anyways. 1902 injun 1851 large penny. plated gold ring, and some odds and ends. and of course the junk pile.
