    what are your sensitivity levels ? i just got a 4x6 , tx boost and rx 6 overloads in air . heard people say smaller coil higher sens, any advice?

    cool info, but why not 3 frequency 22.5 seems to hit weak on silver [ uk guys think otherwise] the same items with 3 frequency color response would be super helpful, as i assume most run 3 frequency at parks and homesites.

    Gold Coin VDI's

    ground, trash and depth can all effect vdi, recently i found a seated dime in park fil at 2 inches hitting solid at 62 , also a couple deep large cents in the woods at 60 64 when other times vdis ring true . you just never know till its dug. air tests do give a most of the time number.

    polar plot ,sizing and switching the toggle back to hunt from analize or pinpoint seems to take about 1 second to react, but instability wil cause analize to stay blank due to reaction time. im guessing thats just how it works. i also find it hard to analize in trash due to other close...

    Starting to get fed up with V3i.... when on beach

    rob, what do you mean about the tracking engine working in loctrac ? i dont have overload problems with the dx1 just weirdness after using it, seems like the v adjusts to it somehow them doesnt when switched back to coil. ps the dx1 is a huge help at the beach.

    does the sat effect search threshold? i know its not supposed to but ??? im also a big fan of locked tracking even with inhibit on tracking will move on extremly weak targets sometimes.

    i hear ya, on the beach things are just a pain in the a__ ! one tide can change things ,lock track is good but the v is doing something behind the scenes... i havent posted about this but when i use my dx1 probe at the beach 7 seconds or so later it goes unstable and a sweep in pinpoint fixes...

    like yazoo said try salt ground salt compensate and correlate 3 freq. salt without it wraps a surface quarter in my beach area try 3 freq salt correlate span40 wrap -90 10 high filter . good luck!

    thanks larry, ive tried every thing i could and used lots of patience but just cant get this machine to respond correctley also the date in battery door reads 2010 just purchased from kellyco maybe a returned unit? should i return to them or send to whites?

    ok guys helpme out here,new test today: dry beach sand ground probe vdi -94 frequencys 178 177 24 , 6in buried quarter +94 to -94 6in buried nickel +89 !!!?? also dug a pulltab at about 6in +89 !!!?? also home in my yard ground probe vdi -94 with same frequency degrees after zeroing probe...

    Two park hunts nothing to show...

    ive found a trick with old heavily hunted parks is to dig deep low tones , they usually wont be silver but ive got alot of indians and vnickels this way and a little old gold , just dig the soild ones first, i bet theres stil some good stuff left especially in an old area.

    First silver with V3i

    the date on those is really weak to begin with, i got a 1919 with a clear king but can barely read the date. but hay its old its silver and not an every day find. awesome ! good luck and happy hunting!
