    Battery corrosion

    I discovered why my MXT was shutting down, I had a leaking battery and the contacts have corrosion on them would I be better of just getting a new holder or is there a cleaner that I could use?

    Has anyone had this happen?

    My last couple of outings with the MXT it completely shuts down, I remove the battery pack put it back in continue hunting fifteen twenty minutes later the same thing happens battery check is showing 11.

    XLT vs DFX

    There is not a big price difference with these two detectors, with the DFX having two frequencies I would think either the XLT would be less expensive or the DFX more. Anyone care to elaborate on this?

    First time out with the new MXT

    Took it out for the first time today did not find much but got some good practice time in seems to pinpoint easily, so far I think its a good machine. Let you know later how I 'm getting along.
