    Reg or Eric, PI Pinpointer probes

    I am curious about how a PI pinpoint probe is built. Is the coil wound with the turns right next to each other on some sort of coil form and is it wound close to the full length of the probe? I mean I assume that there is some sort of wire coil in a pinpointer. Thanks. Wirechief.
