    If you have alot of Trash mixed/close to good targets I recomend the eclipse 5.3 coil also.

    I also think that may be silent masking. Keep that test patch and plant another 6" coin in a different spot.

    The dd 10" is sensitive to crown caps . bottle cap reject seems to make me lose too much signal on quarters. analize and pinpoint has predominant 2.5 green on coins. if that does not work for you,- I use 950 and super12 if I encounter alot of crown caps.

    In the hands of a user with hundreds of hours of correct use , no MD is completely obsolete. I would never sell my XLT, as much as I like and still learning the V3.

    DD coil is not harder to pinpoint , Just takes a second step , its a different technique.

    Analize does not work well if RX gain one number too high or discrimination too high. after pushing triger to analize , pause a 1 or 2 seconds before the swing to analize.

    Sound like if you are using the proper analize technique ,and you dont get a good screen you may be running too much rx gain .

    If it takes me 25 years to find my first gold coin . I would be happy to still be able to swing a coil Time for me to take my ginko Biloba , but I cant remember where I put it. coolest of finds, find , I hope I can find one someday.

    V3 and /or ML Etrac- - - -?? I don't recall seeing anything conserning the difference between the two regarding the weight:shrug:

    Did you call whites and explain and ask their advice? Also speak to more than one person.What was their reply?

    I thought I had a coil problem, they sent me a new coil . New coil works fine .I'll never know if it the other one was bad, faulty , intermittant windings , bad shielding etc.. or otherwise. Look foward to another hunt.

    My v3 worked fine ,however I had other issues and whites corrected ALL and 100% to my Satisfaction.
