    Vaquero finds an interesting badge or tag

    The little badge is about the size of a Us quarter. Not sure where it's from but at least it's dated. Found it buried about 6 inches down in the backyard near a large old tree. Finding it was tough since it was surround by nails.

    IDX wet sand balancing

    I have an IDX with Mr Bill's modifications When beach hunting do I toggle to black sand before I ground balance the detector? Toggle should be in discrimination, center position? Then go into wet sand switch to all metal and bob the coil until balanced ? Hope I explained my self. thanks
