Taping wire ?
Okay every so often I run across posts with people getting false readings and funny tones. I have seen recommending taping the wire from the coil going up like 6 inches at bottom . Does it work and why doesnt Garrett tell you to do it. I look at it this way if it affects anything or makes it...- Mr Bean

Really weird object
Found this yesterday at local lake .My ace250 picked up a signal about 50 yards from the waters edge. When I dug it up had me baffled. The chain links are about 1 inch in oval diameter,what looks like an eye bolt is about 3 inches long,the two round cookie looking discs are 2 1/2 inches in...- Mr Bean
