    Crash Course In Beach Detecting?

I experimented with recovery speeds with my V3i and a 9.5 & a 10X12 SEF. You can run it so high one sweep will give you three target hits (sounds like a pinball machine) and drastically diminish depth too.

    F75+ from Amazon

The flip side is even people reputable now started out small-I did. Overhead is a killer: a business phone was several times the price of a pvt line, and ad size added on to it. (it cost $ to NOT be listed?) The best advertising starting out was a newspaper ad for Sat/Sun and NOT a business ad...

    Crash Course In Beach Detecting?

The wide-scan, autotune mode? A friend hunted like that at the beach with a CZ. I like very old sports fields and neither the autotune or pinpoint modes will hit the deep cents/dimes I look for that are 11 to 12 inches. My CZ's are NASA Tom tuned and have 10.5" loops. In the old days reverse...

    F75+ from Amazon

The low quality detectors I see on amazon and ebay from China is crazy, and the bogus name brands are criminal. Pinpointers from $10 to $20? Twenty years ago you could not buy a Tiny Tek for that and you maybe got 1/2" of depth. Whites made one that hit at1 inch and there was a revolution...

    Crash Course In Beach Detecting?

Basic rules for wet sand is do not turn sensitivity up too much--it will chatter. Dial in some iron disc, this will null some of the wet salt. (doing this along with your ground balance is what we call a double ground balance) Try different sweep speeds too. Low tide is good but whether high or...

Any one using the Simplex on wet salt sand or in the water?

Is the Simplex good for gold nuggets?

True detection depth of Noka Invenio in mineralized earth..?

I could not get that kind of depth from a Whites TM 808 two box and it ground cancels, (And I doubt I could get it from a TDi Pro with an Afterburner using a 2-box orthongal loop attachment either) Hmm......have you tried an Electroscope? :D

A signal not often come across

Only a despicable knave would treat a silver bracelet with such disdain, (Now Imagine if you had found an 18/17 SL Quarter and did that?) Its a good idea at the beach to rake the sand on a blip-blip too, also could be a chain.

Any one using the Simplex on wet salt sand or in the water?

The Headhunter is a improved copy of the1280X and at the same frequency: I just want more than a beep and dig now. (Do not know why I keep saying it is 2,75kHz like the V3i) I wondered about the Headhunter with the big DD--I had a Diver before. I normally use a CZ-70 or 3D literally everywhere...

    t2 bottle caps

That is a all metal non motion mode like on the F-75. The T2 did not have it on early models but added it later. If you have that mode I know a procedure for BC's and its not tone related.

Whites tdi depth while prospecting for gold

Jimmy Sierra had a small loop that was getting a lot of good reviews.

    F75 Stat vs CL mode

The Stat mode is almost 3X deeper from my experience, but you hear everything and must watch the TID and it is very slow going. And it drifts as there is no autotune (or recovery speed.) With the stock DD coil and using the stat mode there is a way to i.d. bottlecaps everytime too.

    F75 All metal signal

That is normal with a non motion search mode. (The F-75 Stat mode is much deeper.) A VLF AM detector by its very nature is only designed to respond to the r signal (target) and ignore the x (ground) signal. Since the ground reaction primarily produces a x signal in the receive coil the VLF...

True detection depth of Noka Invenio in mineralized earth..?

There was a video of a guy on youtube years ago that put one on a pile of wood and burned it. Seems it lacked depth, did not image and picked up steel as good.

Any one using the Simplex on wet salt sand or in the water?

People seriously overstate saying a single frequency VLF will not work in wet salt: maybe not as proficiently as a multi but they get the job done, If there is a beach mode that normally cuts down a little on the front end (transmit power.) In discriminate add a little iron discriminate to null...

    pulse dive pin pointer

Take a dremel with a grinder wheel and grind down the length--using a cutting wheel requires more care. Take your time and go slow.
