    Hello. These boards are made to handle 12 Volts which will have the penlight battery holder from White's (8x 1.5V=12V). And depending on the starting voltage of some battery manufacturers 14V will not fry the electronics. These Li-Ion penlights I had in mind myself but they had to less WH (mAh)...
