    Minelab Explorer/etrac series battery pack question.

    I put 3500 mAh batteries in my old xs rechargable battery holder. Last longer. Charge just fine. I had a local battery shop do it. Or you could do it yourself. Don't have to use their expensive batteries. I'm sure there's better out there.

    They won't turn the beach here on lake Erie shores. Just power rake it. I think they get all the chains that way. Wish I could take my mini loader down and turn it myself. Heck I'd run a trommel and clean the whole beach for free. Be fun to keep detecting those spots as the waves break down...

    I'm still Loving my carrot. Never had a stability issue. Bought the Mi6. Besides the battery crapping out. I just didn't like it. I am however really liking the Nokts pointer. Hit and stable. The Quest Xpointer max is another I really like. A lot actually.

    Maybe try rubber washers. What I've used on other machines. Most machines today come with them installed. CK out a good hardware store. Come in many sizes and thickness.
