Looks like a meteorite to me.

    The MXT was dialed in.

Great depth with that small coil, has to give you great separation, got to be easy to pinpoint also. Cool find.

    Backpacks

Got one with my name on it, tried a couple times but wasn't worth the extra weight.

    First merc

By looking at the condition of the coin it looks like it's got about 20 years of wear on it which would place it approximately dropped around 1957. That means that coin has been laying there for 66 years waiting on you to rescue it. Nice find.

    Old Homesite Neat Silver Finds

Nice variety of finds, maybe worth another hunt?

I finally broke into the 1700's today....

Sites like that are rare, that's a detector's dream site. Everytime you start to dig it's got to be exciting knowing what you've already found. I'm a long way away from the 1700 club like 100 years, I'm happy getting back to the silver days which is just 60 years ago.

    Slide hill

With that many shallow finds it's possible you could grid the area off and listen for nothing but deep signals. Those shallow targets can mask the deeper ones.

Tempted to say it’s a trigger guard but doesn’t seem like it is

That's a cool 😎 find for sure, I'm not an expert with guns but it definitely fits the description of a trigger guard, a very old one indeed. Someone who deals with old guns could probably even tell you what kind of gun it came off of, maybe even a pawn shop.

    Poor Farm Button

Really good details on that button, with some research you may be able to get the history of it. I know I've never seen anything like it.

    A review of 2023

I'm telling you, that silver is getting tough to find, last year for the whole year I got 3 silver coins. Nice variety on your finds.

    Not detecting but still finding!

That place is calling for you to get your metal detector out and get some cool finds. When the weather breaks I bet you can get some silver out of there. My wife watches this show called Barn Builders, those pictures remind me of that show.

Taking Friend Metal Detecting for Her First Time, I was Rewarded.

This is a perfect example of where dreams meet reality, this woman dreamed of gold and diamond rings then reality set in with an aching body and a empty pouch. Nice of you to keep your patience.

Confederate & Union Civil War Relics With Seated & Barber Silver Sprinkled In

WOW! Absolutely fantastic hunting, love the seated dime and that barber quarter looks brand new. You definitely got a sweet spot going in that area, I'd get back in there and grid it off in a very tight method.

    2 silver day!

When I start finding Wheaties I know I'm in the right place for silver, set up the grids, set the coil as low as possible to the soil, swing at all angles possible and listen for those faint deep signals. Two silver day with all that other good stuff is excellent in my world.

    1800s Schoolhouse goodies

The exciting thing about hunting a place like that is your always thinking the next find is going to be a trophy find. Nice recoveries for sure.
