Many years ago I had a 'major rotator cuff tear. Dr said, 'at your age' the surgery may not work. Did some PT and almost a years later, it was 95% good. Here's the way you swing, instead of moving the entire arm, just hold your arm near your stomach and twist your whole body back and forth...

Has anyone attempted to send in 'mutilated' coins aka zinc pennies since they revamped the whole process ?

Never knew home forges were very popular. I dont think in my neck of the woods, Jersey Shore, there would be a demand. I did sell my lead to a guy who re-cast and made new fishing weights. However, He said he'd never buy salt water weights again as there was tons of smoke and too much 'crap'...

Has anyone attempted to send in 'mutilated' coins aka zinc pennies since they revamped the whole process ?

The ones I have are VERY crusty. If tumbled they may just disintegrate !!!! Postage is not a big issue as I live close to Philly. I remember using a flat rate box which you can ship up to 70 pounds. I netted between $80-90. If you think of all the time spent Digging them, at least I get...

Has anyone attempted to send in 'mutilated' coins aka zinc pennies since they revamped the whole process ?

I did pretty good back in the old days since Philly mint is next door The new process seemed to be very complicated. it appeared you had to be a business and get prior approval. Been saving my corroded pennies waiting for the new program. i have 6 beach pails full !!!! TIA Donna(NJ)
