    First week with V3 - Report

    Plant some coins 3-4" deep in your yard and practice your pinpointing with the coil.With whichever program your using make sure tone id is on and that vco is on under pinpoint audio.If its not on,turning it on will help your pinpointing tremendously.

    None the less,Id love to see the video Racer.At what depth in your area do you see the dominant freq. go from 2.5 to 22.5?

    WHITES VISION ROD

    Do you have a DX-1 mounted on it? If so,you may have to trim the wand holding clamp a little to get the detectors rod nut to tighten up.

    What kind of gloves do you all use?

    I like the thin,tight fitting deer skin gloves,they let me keep my sense of touch and are pretty rugged wear wise.

    Thats basically what I go by Larry,but Ive noticed on some targets,and I cant remeber what they were,when pinpointing showed a dominant frequency but changed as I dug closer to the target.Ive also had a dominant frequency in pinpoint,but had the analyze show a different dominant frequency before...

    Larry,did you get any of the tabs you tested to hit the hardest in the 7.5 freq? Ive had this happen also on the older tabs that arent aluminum.

    Ive seen posts saying that the 22.5 is hitting deep coins very good and was wondering what everyones experience is that has had this happen to them while in 3 freq. best data? I havent had it happen to me,but then I havent made it a habit of digging deep 22.5 hits while looking for coins...
