    Buddy just called me hunting down in Charleston SC got in his car to head home and took off. He said he hit the highway and heard something slide off his roof. Looked back to see his V3 headphones bouncing 4ft in the air off the road said he was going around 50mph. Pulled over and got them...

    Will the DFX do anything that the V3 will not do or is it better than the V3 at anything?

    The V3 it does not seem to like the bigfoot and the salt. Other than that I think the V3 is better than the DFX. If you have to have a back up get the DFX all your coils from the V3 will work with it. The XLT coils will not and still work in all three feq. Jason

    The problem I have with that is that I can not run my gain and sensitivity near as high and I also get a lot more electric interference in mixed mode. Then my depth goes way down. Jason

    Went to a Confederate camp that has been pounded for years if you find one bullet you have done well here. Set up the V3 in all metal and went digging all these bullets were 12" or deeper. The all metal is unreal for relic hunting as deep or deeper than any detector out there. Jason

    I too like mine the more I use it the better I do like it. Still have other detectors but my Etrac is now gone.
