    Short hunt at noon today

    Went down at noon for low tide today and hunted for an hour or so. I'd have stayed longer but the sun is wickedly strong, but even a short hunt is fun and I was happy to get a few coins and a nice big .925 silver ring. Here's the loot

    From this morning

    I got down to the beach early this morning and hunted for a couple of hours. Got a lot of the usual trash plus a few keepers, including a nice .925 ring which made my happy. Here's the loot.

    Morning Silver

    Took a spin down to the beach at dawn this morning and hunted for a couple of hours as the tide came in. Lots of pull-tabs and other junk plus a nice count of coins.     I went down to the beach early this morning and did my public service of digging up every pull-tab, bottle-cap and bit of aluminum I could find, and while tidying the beach I managed to get a few dollars worth of local money plus a U.S. nickel and a nice little silver ring.
