    FRUSTRATED !

    Can anybody give me real life instructions on ground balancing the xterra 305? I have one coming. i have read the pdf manual its lacking in clarity. I have seen the mlotv.com video everything but 305. I even asked Minelab and guess where they sent me? 305 USERS HELP!!!

    CORRECT WAY TO

    What is the correct and best way to Ground Balance the X Terra 305? I have one coming,and want to make sure I get the GB down pat. I am in VA and the soil is highly mineralized . I have not seen anything clear cut on the procedure . Thanks

    ANYBODY USE THE EXPLORER XS IN VA?

    I was thinking about picking up the XS but was told it does not do well in highly ironized soil is this true? I live in Roanoke VA and it has caused me problem with some detectors without manual GB becuse of the mineralized soil.

    FOUND THAT SWEET SPOT ON MY COIL!

    Thanks to Mike Hillis, I found the sweet spot Mike mentioned about on my Elliptical stock F5 coil . Doing what he said, I marked out on my coil with four bright chartruse arrows. It is spot on using pinpoint and a silver quarter as the target, it was dead on in the test I did. No more guess work...

    IF you run the F5 in AM mode in general will it give you a wider range of VDI numbers in general ? And in AM will it give you a better chance of finding more valuables? Anybody on this ?

    Well I got a F5 on its way!!! I had a Tesoro Deleon and it couldn't cut the mustard here due to high mineral content in soil i;e iron. I was diappointed it was my first Tesoro. I had gotten a F2 as a simple fun detector ,and she as done well and handles the ground a ok.I like the 4 tone audio...
