    I've discovered finding a Tesoro 6" (5.75) concentric coil is not an easy thing to do. I see Detech has a 8"x6" SEF coil available for the Vaquero. Are they any good? Haven't seen much written about them

    I recently purchased a Tesoro Vaquero that has the 11x8 coil. I'd like to know which coil I should look for to hunt areas that have a lot of the old aluminum pull-tabs and steel bottle caps. The area was used extensively for picnic/dance gatherings from early 1900's to around the end of WWII.

    Calabash released a great you tube earlier today on iron bias setting (or lack of) in the Legend. Well worth the watch. The one disappointing thing I picked up on was he wasn't likely to compare the Legend to the Deus II because of the price difference.

    Yeah, I checked his website to see what a new unit costs. My concern is spending more (or about the same) on a back up detector when compared to the cost of the Legend. It's easy to get carried away and lose sight of my objective.
