    Custom Scorpion

    Mounted My Scorpion on whites 3 pc spacesaver rod setup, turned out well, so can fit in airline carryon, turned out ok, feels kinda different but is OK:detecting:

    Tricked out my Scorpion

    Am planning on some flight trips next year so set it up with 3 pc rod for easy packing, used whites , space saver rod and prism arm cup, will pack in carry on that way, with 2 pc rod=no way, turned out OK.:garrett:, and here's both of My Scorpions, Bigfut and Lilfut:twodetecting:

    My Scorpin on the 17 th

    Got in couple hours, for 51 coin and some pieces of junk joolery, at least it's all spendable and wasn't too bad to clean off, looked better than I thought it would, anything to help out with the runnin around expense:detecting::garrett::usmc:

    got a goodly chunk of change today

    No pics, not even dumped out the pouch yet, still in truckbed, but was fair 2 hrs, I think it's all change, but will spend real well, probly on this $4.00 gas, Trickin' out one of my Scorpions with whites space saver rods, i used them before on some nautilus, and minelabs, they work pretty good...

    been all tied down with house guests for a while, feel like I'm runnin a hotel, but did get out for couple hours, havn't even dumped the pouch or got it outa the truck yet, but goodly chunk of change, get it counted and sorted in day or so, in process of mounting my 1 Scorpion on White's space...

    But pretty nice for a 1909 VDB, was heading to vehicle walkind old blacktop with detector still on, and got good beep from a tar ball/gob, picked it up, soaked it in gasoline, cleaned it up and a penny, always wanted one of these, was pretty decent find to end a crummy detecting...

    Need shorter rod ideas

    OK-here's where I am, have Garrett Scorpions,, they have a upper rod and lower rod, when breoken down for traveling on airline the shortest I can get broken down into is around 34-35 inches, I need to come up with some way to shorten up to around the size of tesoros or along that line, maybe a 3...
