    11x13 coil ears question

Mark, there might be better ways to do this, but I would be happy to show you how I did it. Remove screw and pull off Mount/cap. I had to make an elongated hole to accommodate the little stick at the end of the antenna wire. Feed the wire from the bottom of the shaft up. Pull the wire through...

    11x13 coil ears question

FWIW I found one of these balancer/stabilizer units for a few bucks. It solved the problem with flopping and loosening of the 11 x 13 coil. It’s not perfect but it feels a lot better. Thanks, Dan

    1944 D war nickel

I tried to keep the gold run going for a third day with no luck on that. but I did find a 1944D nickel. My beach isn’t conducive to old coins, mostly just clad and occasional jewelry. I popped this nickel out with a 58 target ID with the D2 on beach P. This coin is officially the oldest I’ve...

    2nd day in row w-gold w/ diamond!

yes! Second day in a row, finding white gold with diamonds! 30 minutes into the hunt using beach p target ID 41 with the D2. Four hours before low tide, so I just hunted the sea foam. The diamond tester indicated authentic. Thanks Dan

    drought over, gold/diamond ring!

So I’m thinking what the hell I’m thirsty...

    Another great hunt today...

Nice haul fwcrawford. Boy, they sure like to drop quarters at those schools. I sure hope the ground was soft. I know a lot of them look fresh, but were there any old ones?

    A little silver before work

Thanks everyone. I think everyone here knows the feeling when you think it’s going to be another zinc penny and it turns out to be jewelry. I guess that’s why we do it. Thanks for looking, Dan

    A little silver before work

I didn’t want to miss the low tide so I hunted an hour and 1/2 before work and came up with some junk and an another charm bracelet with 3 charms. Volleyball, angel wings, tiara. No gold still, but I’ll take the James Avery anytime. Came out of the ground that lavender color, but it cleaned up...
