    MX5 vs ATPRO --- is there any advantage?

    We know we have two great detector companies Whites and Garrett. Seems like the MX5 by Whites is to compete with the ATPRO? Does the MX5 have any real advantage over the ATPRO? As far as I know you can put the MX5 completely under water so why not go with the ATPRO?

    Out with the Compadre

    Haven't used the Compadre for awhile so took it out today for a few hours. It's sure easy to forget how fun it is to use it. Found a whole bunch of clad. For a little machine it has nice depth too.

    Finally got out again..

    I finally got out with the F70 again. Hit a baseball field that was loaded with coins. Found one silver Rosie but the rest was dirty old clad. If was one of those days that every few feet you would digging up coins. Just out for 35 minutes but it was fun before the rain came down!

    The F70 is a

    Went out today with the F70 for the first time and I think the machine is a sleeper! Easy to use, good tones, and you can swing the thing all day and not get tired. I didn't take any pics but I found a bunch of zince and it was hitting hard on dimes. Can't wait to get out with it again soon!

    Liking the F70 tones

    I really like the clear and crisp tones on the F70. Just did a little testing in my yard Have not went out as yet on an official hunt but I'm going to follow the advise of others and keep the sensitivity down. If it's not so blasting hot tomorrow ...hopefully I'll be out giving it the first fun!
