Civil war lead & a gag loop

Cool. They did the research on my great great grandfather. I stop in & check stuff out once and a while. I don't live far from Gettysburg relatively speaking. I want to show them my explosive bullets.

    New spot

Lol Yes all discarded. I know having the right equipment helps greatly but luck has something to do with it buddy. New permission at a old place. They said it was hunted 20 years ago. No DD coils were around in wide use then. The yard should hold some cool stuff I hope.

Civil war lead & a gag loop

I dug one years ago & took it into a place in Gettysburg. He said it was a sword hanger. It isn't. It's part of a bridle set up. They're cool looking though & old.

I dug my first regiment number

The brass was my G2 & most of the lead was GPX4500. Set them as wide open as possible & still maintain stability.

I dug my first regiment number

Thanks buddy. It's my first of any hat pin. I dusted off my G2 & dug some brass.
  9. Digger70pa

I dug my first regiment number

Thanks buddy. It's a strap adjuster. They used them on the knap sack straps. I've seen a little bit bigger & heavier ones used on belt rigs.

I dug my first regiment number

I dug my 1st regiment number today. It was brass day for sure.

    Little star pin & lead.

They were with Milroy in Winchester when he got defeated. They retreated towards this spot & some units were sent to Mead after the battle as reinforcements to chase Lee. I see two scenarios.
  12. Digger70pa
