    Minelab Detector Bag

This one is not perfect. There is a worn spot where you can see through a small hole. Other than that it's great. I'm just asking $28.50 shipped. USPS money order or add 3% for Paypal($29.35 total). Email any questions to: taterdiggr55@aol.com

SEF 10 x 12 coil for Minelab Explorers, Safari, Quattro and Etrac

$150 shipped in original box. I used it about 150 hours. Still in great shape. This one will find stuff the stock coils won't find in areas where there are deep goodies. Comes with the coil cover. I prefer USPS money orders. Paypal add 3% please(=$154.50). Please email questions to...

    Yay!

I wanted to get a seated to put me up to #10 for this year so I went to where they are found most often(my favorite park!). In about 30 minutes I got one! An 1876 along with 5 indians including a decent 1870 and a pitted 1868. All that was in about 3 hours. The next three hours turned up nothing...

Hey! Your junk silver dimes are worth over $1.90 today.

That quantitative easing thing might really push up the metals prices. What do you think? Silver at $50 an ounce soon?

Finds from a military base dating pre WWl

Mike(MI), Shawano, Tim(LaPorte), Steve(Indy) and I got permission to hunt an old military base in Indiana. It was pretty fun digging all this stuff! What amazed us was a couple of large cents turned up! Steve dug an 1845 that is beautiful and Shawano dug a good 1836. Must have been something...

More old coins from the fields...

Big Fang, Mike(MI) and I got into some good fields Saturday and here's my keepers. I also dug a 1938 U.K. coin that I gave to my grandson because it has a cool ship on it. One of the best farm field days I've had in a long time! HH Neal

It WAS a wonderful day for digging!

Big Fang and I hit some fields and nobody thought his first find could be topped(beautiful 1854 quarter!). Then at the end of the day this pretty lady shows up. My first Bust quarter! It's an 1821. She's tarnished and the plow has hit her in a couple of places but she's beautiful to me! Man was...

    Update on my daughter...

Thank you for your prayers! We are about 90% certain that she'll need to have the colon completely removed but I know prayer changes things. She's still losing blood and the latest and best medicine is being tried since yesterday and I'm hoping that this at least delays surgery for a few years...

I won't rub it in Mikey but if I was it would look something like this...

Wish you could have gone but maybe next time. There's still more there. I'll even show you where I dug those. That half dime is one year from being a Bust half dime! So close. The best indian is an 1869-good year! HH Neal

A good day at my favorite park!

Well, at least I didn't scratch all the silver coins. I missed the half dime with my digger :clapping: That's an 1837, first year they made them. Just one more year older would have been a Bust! The best indian is an 1869-real good year! The scratched and bent seated dime is an 1876 cc. It's...

    Tokens from the token house!

BigFang and I know this house is changing owners soon, so we wanted to get at least one more shot at the tokens. The owner has been gracious and allowed us to dig for the 4th time. I got into a hot spot where we hadn't scanned much and came away with 29 tokens. Also a silver quarter, '03 Indian...

    Park digs...

Hit one of my favorite parks yesterday and dug a few goodies. The dime is an 1884. The nickel is an 1876, a great year to find, but you know how the ground treats nickels, no exception this time! Also an 1892 Indian, few wheats, brass ring, marble and an ornate key. HH Neal

Update on the old ring I found...

Turns out the unanimous opinion is that it is a fur trader ring from the 1700's or earlier! It was a popular item to trade with the Indians back then. Usually had Jesuit designs or initials or hearts. Just wanted to brag! Neal

Anyone ever find a ring with this design on it?

It looks like a lower case Greek letter "pi" to me. The ring is obviously handmade. Any ideas on what the "pi" is for.

    Big Silver!!!! and more...

Everything at the top of the picture was in the same hole! What a rush to see 4 old coins, especially the Barber Half in one hole. Also the two little almost decomposed pieces of leather were between the coins. Part of the purse or wallet? The ring looks hand made to me. Quite crude but...

    Wow!

I got to do a real life comparison yesterday with the 10 x 12(my buddy Mike had it on his Explorer 2) and the 15 x 12 that I had on my Explorer XS. The signal I got had INDIAN written all over it. It was showing maybe 1/8" black on the depth meter. Since I was using a huge coil I knew this one...

Back from digging at the CMD Forum Annual Hunt!

Mike always does a good job getting these together every year. He tells me next year may even be better! The Explorer XS was cooking today and found all this for me! Thanks for inviting me Mike! HH Neal

    Today's digs...

I met up with some great guys over at the Christian Metal Detecting Forum for their annual CMD hunt. Mike Walker does a great job getting these together every year. He put us on a good spot today and I was able to come home with all this! HH Neal

    Second hunt with the S.E.F. 15 x 12 coil...

I'm starting to get the impression that there aren't any good finds that are deeper than what the SEF 10x12 can find around here. My second test spot was a place where the 10 x 12 found some real deep indians. Not a peep from the 15x12 coil in that area. I was able to move to another area and...
