    Anyone here use a Fisher 1280x???........

    I have had this detector for at least 10-12 years.Had the battery lead replaces 3 times,still works great,no leaks.Got to get some R and R parts for her: armrest,new battery compartment cover and gasket,and other minor update parts.....Glad to see Fisher still makes the 1280x,after all these...

    I have been watching Lake Michigan:unsure:......

    ....As to the storms coming ashore,changing everything BIG TIME,sand bottom wise.......I bet the time frame of finds in Lake Michigan Has no rhyme nor reason,as much as these windy storms dredge up the bottom here.....Can Probly find 100+ years old silver and old jewelry,and new clad may be...

    Wound up in the ER monday:wacko:......

    All the week before last,been feeling pretty nasty.Blood pressure all over the place.Called my Dr Monday,about my b/p,told me 'GET IT CHECKED OUT!!!'......Went to hospital,my blood pressure was 210/130.:confused:.they took tests,found out no real damage done.Got me another b/p pill to take with...

    Made it to Mackinaw............

    About 3:30 pm yesterday.....Of course,already been in the hot tub and pool,YOWSA!!!....Supposed to be near 80 tomorrow noonish,'Tis when we will be going wet detecting,hopefully.Also calling for thunderstorms,so's eyes to the sky,lest a lightning bolt skewers me :sadwalk::unsure:..........

    I checked the weather up Mackinaw way for this next week.....:thumbup:.....

    We will be there Monday night thru Thursday night,and weather.com says 'In the high 60's to the mid 70's,for highs,lower 60's for lows',the days we are there......Friday night into Saturday,a cold front comes thru,driving temps down to the 40's and 50's thereafter'........I can hear some of them...

    Well,I got both detectors ready to go......

    My trusty workhorse Fisher 1280x,and my Garrett 1350GTA........It is still up near the 60's/70's up Mackinaw way,am hoping for some in the h2o hunting,in a couple parks with inland lakes,should be still pretty warm......Leaving tomorrow morning,yay!!
