    Few rings on the waterfront this morning

    I got out this morning before work for a quick hunt. The waterfront concerts beside my work have a nice stage with 30 feet of pea-gravel in front of it. I spent a little over 30 minutes there.     Good first outing with 11" DD coil on Delta

    I had a chance this morning to try it out. I split my time between 3 different spots that I have hit before. Nothing spectacular, but I spent most of my time getting the hang of pinpointing. That loonie hit nicely on my machine. I need to get over to Canada to do some hunting soon :)

    I got my new pinpointer yesterday in the mail. I have to say I am impressed! Very high quality build construction. I love how it turns on and off. The range is perfect for pinpointing. Just wanted everyone to know there are other pinpointers out there :smile:

    I have found a Silver Sabre II locally for sale for 100 bucks. Not sure on the year, or any other details other than it works. I have been thinking about buying a new Compadre. Would this unit stack up as good as the Compadre? I am going to buy one or the other, so I would love some opinions. HH
