    The minelab is called go-find. There are a few different models. Also, I made a mistake on the other suggestion. I said Smithsonian but after checking...I realized that was not the one I was thinking of.. its the National Geographic detectors I meant to list for your grand kids. Once again...

    Hi... Not sure if this is too late but both minelab and Smithsonian has a couple simple entry detector for kids and young people. I think they start at $70 and go to $115 they are like 5 to 7mhtz and built sturdy. Hope this helps Tacoma, Washington
