    Just spoke to White's Electronics about Chinese copies...

    The nice lady told me that China is exporting White's look a likes and even the boxes look the same. They are all illegal counterfeits. Mostly the CoinMaster line. That's a shame. Make sure we support the real McCoy in Oregon.

    That darn Monte sold me a White's pinpointer that doesn't work now....

    Interesting Nokta test and discovered something....

    Placed a Dime about ¼" from the middle of a pull tab. Dime by itself was coming up at '85' solid. Pull tab alone came up at 62-66 depending on the coil direction... Sen = 85; Mask = 10; Mode = DI3; 5" coil. swinging the 5" coil lengthwise both ways gave me a mixed signal with the numbers...

    Anyone know what a U.S. $1.00 gold coin will register on the Nokta TID?
