    Railroad Depot find.........

    Hunted an old railroad depot this weekend. There is no evidence of this place left and if you didn't know the history of this town you wouldn't know it's location. Nature has reclaimed the spot with trees and brush, no foundations, no old ties or track, etc. HARD to swing a coil here....blah...

    discrimination vs depth.....?????

    I run my GSII with high discrimination (6 on the dial) and my notch is about 6.5-7 on the dial.     Tues. hunt 40's yard.....

    Hunted a 40's yard today and worked hard for these coins. Yard had the emaculate grass so had to use a cloth to place dirt on and cut a plug for every target. Coins were out of my depth range for the most part because of thick sod but managed a couple goodies from the dirt floor garage......

    1 weeks worth.......

    This is what I dug last week and 3 hot wheels cars not pictured. Had 2 good days and 3 bad ones like today (only found 1 new dime after 1.5 hrs.....lol).     Tuff diggin today at a new school I've never hunted. Ground is HARD and DRY. Spent about 4 hrs there trying to figure out where the original dirt is (was) and where the new fill is. Think I may have found some clues and will return to try and sniff out some older stuff?
